Renewed Commitment to Academic & Professional Excellence

The National Police Academy of Sri Lanka and the University of Kelaniya proudly renewed and formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 13th February 2026 at the University of Kelaniya.

This renewed partnership further strengthens the long-standing relationship between the two institutions, reinforcing their shared vision of enhancing academic standards and professional training within Sri Lanka Police.

🔹 Continuation of the Higher Diploma in Crime Investigation in collaboration with the Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine
🔹 Expansion of jointly conducted programmes in Forensic Medicine, Criminology, Gender Studies, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Investigation, and Justice
🔹 Academic collaboration in curriculum development and Senate-approved programmes
🔹 Strengthening digital infrastructure and IT-related academic development
🔹 Upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in teaching, training, and assessment
