The National Police Academy welcomed a distinguished delegation from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) at a meeting held on 20th January 2026.

The visit focused on strengthening cooperation and exploring future collaboration to conduct structured training programmes on drug prevention for Sri Lanka Police officers and other law enforcement personnel. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to enhancing professional capacity and reinforcing drug prevention efforts in Sri Lanka through international collaboration.
