Psychology is a multifaceted discipline and includes many sub – fields of study such as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior and cognitive processes. Psychology includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, including feelings and thoughts. It is an academic discipline of immense scope, crossing the boundaries between the natural and social sciences.

This programme intends to enhance the knowledge on existing legal context on litigation, modern technologies connected to investigations, recent developments of human rights and accurate reporting procedures related to the subject. This programme has been designed based on SLQF standards. Officers those who successfully complete the course programme will expected to be able to develop their professional knowledge, skills and attitudes for the job performances.

This programme intends to enhance knowledge of the police officers working in a multi-cultural society to bring effective remedies for public complaints. The Diploma in Miscellaneous Complaints Investigation is comprised with 13 course modules with 30 credits, scheduled for 24 weeks’ residential training programme, with extensive coverage of the subject scope.
